Eurosonic preview @ Vanslag

In a few days Eurosonic is going to start again in Groningen and with so many bands -from all over Europe- playing in Groningen, it’s easy to overlook some of them and for that reason alone it’s great that in the day’s before it starts  there are some preview shows. In Vanslag in Borger last night they showcased 7 acts from the province of Drenthe that will all play at Eurosonic-Noorderslag next week.

First snow in December 2017

We’ve had code orange and code red in the Netherlands all day, warnings to go home on time, to not go out on the road if it’s not really necessary and a record length in traffic-jams. All in all that was a bit much for what little snow we had in the North of the Netherlands, but it did make for a nice view: Snowy wintery landscapes!

Barcelona in November

The first two weeks of November I spent in Barcelona again. And we added a visit to Girona and Figueres. I mean… it’s cold and wet in the Netherlands, so a visit to Spain is a great idea!
