I first visited Guatemala in 2016, a vacation to meet the family of Monica and to see a bit of her country. And as I have not visited the country or family last year it was high time to meet her (and my) Guatemalan family again. The start however wasn’t without it’s fair share of obstacles, but that wasn’t going to stop us from having a fantastic time!
The flight home from Barcelona back to the Netherlands took moe for the most part over a cloudy France, Belgium and Netherlands. But it didn’t start cloudy, Spain was bright and clear and I cannot remember having seen the Pyrenees as clear as I saw it now. It was amazing!
A few more shots of the flight after the break.
Last night, after we returned form a day in Sitges, we were just in time to see the tail of the festa major de Sant Antoni correfoc. It’s been a long time since I saw the nightly correfoc and it was a blast!
There are a few more photos after the break Continue reading Correfoc: Festa Major de Sant Antoni
And here is the second belated blog on my travels to Barcelona of this year. I had just more or less unpacked my luggage from my trip in July when I booked my next ticket to Barcelona for one week in August. Just five weeks after I returned and I already headed back again, this time without my Bianchi.
This is the first of two belated post of my travels to Barcelona this year. In all the traveling and other things I forgot to post these, even though the travels were really good. In July I traveled to Barcelona not with just my regular additional luggage, but with an extra big case as well for a really interesting trip.
Monica and I have been exchanging options and ideas for a long long time as to where to go on vacation this year and it was mostly hard to find a location where we’d both be able to fly to in a fairly decent way. That was really hard in the beginning of our search, but when we got it, al the pieces suddenly fit together seamlessly.
