A few shots from my ride last Saturday
The album Cycling 2017 will be udated through the year with photos from my rides (and occasionally some gear-updates).
Ending 2015 in Barcelona with Monica was a great way to celebrate the beginning of of a new year and so why not repeat it? Luckily Monica agreed, so for the last few days of 2016 and the first four of 2017 I was in Barcelona again.
This was most likely the last time this year I’d be able to go out on such a long ride after work: 84km in nearly 3 hours. However once the sun is gone the cold gets serious and with sweaty clothing that’s not much fun. Also I was racing against the sunset today. I learned my lesson last year and have a good set of lights with me, cycling in daytime is far far better.
A sunset while riding my new Bianchi through Drenthe. I simply had to stop and capture the view.
I got a new lens in today: the Fujifilm Fujinon 18-135mm. Haven’t had time to do a lot of testing yet, but I managed a few shots. Will do a fuller ‘article’ on the lens and the reasons for buying it in a while. Here’s two shots to see that at least it works.
After an initial short bit of photography in a short round last evening, I took the camera for a longer walk this afternoon. What started with a lot of sun, quickly became a bit of rain. But as the X-Pro2 is weatherproof, I went on. The rain gave up quickly then.
