Autumn has started which means that as festival-season is at an end the concert season is finally starting again. My season started in Eelde of all places, in the museum De Buitenplaats with a concert by House of Cosy Cushions.

Statue of Liberty

For the expositions in the Drents Museum in Assen there is often an accompanying piece of art at the canal. A few days ago ‘The American Dream’  opened as an exposition showing American Realism art from 1945 to 2017. For this exposition the accompanying art at the canal is… the Statue of Liberty, posted on rock resembling the Hunebed rocks, linking the Statue of Liberty to Drenthe.

But there was more last Friday evening, first Groningen based Sascha Elisah would be releasing her debut single!

Groninger Museum Live: Female edition

After the success of last years Groninger Museum Live editions, the concept is back. It’s been altered a bit adding poetry and theater, but also there’s still music. This first edition of the year was to include Aafke Romeijn, whom I failed to see every time I got the chance so far and also a performance by Mattanja Joy Bradley.
