I’m starting to get the hang of vacationing. Took me a while, but the pieces are slowly starting to fit together. And so it was a good idea to have short city-trip at the end of May. The chosen destination: Paris!
I haven’t done nearly as much sports photography this year as I liked to have done. Come to think of it, I haven’t done any at all. Busy with other things and concert photography takes up a lot of time too. So when I saw that there would be held regatta rowing championships nearby this Saturday, I jumped on it. Haven’t ever shot rowing before, so that would make an interesting challenge.
I’m fully aware that I have a bit of a camera fetish. I have way more camera’s then I’ll ever need, but hey… it’s just so much fun :) The ultimate camera I’d like to get would be a rangefinder camera. To be precise a Leica, but as that’s way over my budget, that will have to wait for a while. Fuji presented a novel idea on last years Photokina photography trade fair: the X100, a vintage styled compact camera with a hybrid viewfinder. I wanted it the moment I saw it.
