Guatemala 2018
I first visited Guatemala in 2016, a vacation to meet the family of Monica and to see a bit of her country. And as I have not visited the country or family last year it was high time to meet her (and my) Guatemalan family again. The start however wasn’t without it’s fair share of obstacles, but that wasn’t going to stop us from having a fantastic time!
Barcelona, March 2018
I wasn’t able to make it to Barcelona in time for my birthday this year, so I went a bit later to celebrate my 42nd with Monica in a better climate then I had in the Netherlands.

On March 16 Monica and I visited the next concert: the presentation of Angela Furquet’s album De Sol a Son at Soda Acustic.

I was in Barcelona again for a few days with Monica and we visited several concerts. To start with we headed to the Jazz club JazzMan where we just managed to find a small spot to watch the concert of Gabriel Amargant and Manel Fortià.

Yesterday was supposedly the last in a series of warm summer days in Barcelona and with that in mind it seemed a good idea to head back to the Velodrom D’Horta for a few more photos of the training session as my first attempt was lacking a group of cyclists.
