Features

Ever since I had my first medium format camera (the Mamiya 645), I always wanted a Rollei TLR. It's really what a camera ought to look like for me. No electronical help in any way, no batteries to automate things for you... You really have to do everything yourself.
The original Rolleiflex cameras are very costly (also because of the quality of the lens that is used), but Rollei has recognized the demand for affordable camaras years and years ago so that in the 1950's the third version of the cheaper Rolleicord was produced. Biggest differences from the Rolleiflex is the lens (instead of the f/2.8 for the Flex, the Cord came with a f/3.5 lens) and filmtransport (the Flex has a handle that also cocks the shutter, the Cord has a knop that you have to wind).
